Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Site, Business, OR Functional Area Overview: The GE Aerospace facility in McAllen is one of our centers of expertise specializing in
the repair of engine components used in commercial and military aircraft. These include LPT Nozzles, HPT Nozzles, and HPT Hangars. You'll find state of the art technologies in CNC, EDM, and Coating as well as advanced technology development within our new Tech Lab.

Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations. This position is primarily on-site. You will develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and use your prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.

Required Qualifications:
  • For roles outside of the USA: Advanced experience in Manufacturing & Production Supervision. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in the USA: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous production supervision experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:
  • Full-time position with standard business hours.
  • Background and drug screening required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
