JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Dimensional Inspector to join our team and ensure the accuracy and quality of machined metal components. The role involves performing dimensional inspections, using precision measurement tools, and verifying parts against engineering drawings. Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is advantageous, but training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspections on machined metal parts using manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to verify component accuracy.
• Operate and assist in CMM inspections (training provided if needed).
• Record inspection results and support quality documentation requirements.
• Work closely with production teams to identify and address quality issues.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• You will be responsible for insuring parts are ready for shipping on a daily basis.
• You will be responsible for your compliance with all company procedures including HSE and quality
• Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
• CMM experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
