Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machines, shaping metal components to precise specifications. This role requires experience in blueprint reading, machine setup, quality inspection, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities

• Operating Press Brakes - Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications.
• Reading Blueprints - Interpret technical drawings to determine dimensions, shapes, and tolerances.
• Machine Setup & Maintenance - Select appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and perform routine maintenance.
• Quality Control - Inspect finished products for accuracy, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Safety Compliance - Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Material Handling - Load, unload, and properly store materials.
• Collaboration - Work with machinists, engineers, and team members to ensure smooth production processes.
• Problem-Solving - Identify and resolve machine or material alignment issues during fabrication.

Skills & Abilities

• Technical Skills - Experience with manual and CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) press brake machines.
• Blueprint Reading - Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings.
• Precision & Accuracy - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
• Problem-Solving - Ability to troubleshoot machine settings and material alignment.
• Physical Dexterity - Capable of handling large metal sheets and operating controls precisely.
• Safety Awareness - Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Communication - Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic Math Skills - Ability to perform measurements and tolerance calculations.
• Computer Skills - Familiarity with CNC programming and data entry.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Must wear eye and hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots
• Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
