- The production operator shall carry out production process activities including monitoring the operation of equipment (Wells-Oil production using self-flow methods and Artificial Lifting methods i.e. Gas Lifting, ESP, Jet pumps, Water Injection & gas injection wells, WH platform topside Oil & Gas processing, Chemical Treatment, Water treatment & injection facilities, pipeline networks, manifolds, pumps, compressors, well testing facilities including MPFM etc.) and activities of operators and contract labourers assigned to platform to achieve safely and efficiently established production objectives as specified by Company management
Job Responsibilities
- Shall insure safe working conditions in the process area and shall ensure compliance with current safety (HSE, IMS, PTW system, Emergency Response Plan)
- Implement safety, health and environmental regulations and policies
- Must know and correctly interpret gas analyzer readings
- Operate and service offshore production equipment.
- Monitor and control of the including monitoring the operation of equipment (Wells-Oil production using self-flow methods and Artificial Lifting methods i.e. Gas Lifting, ESP,Jet pumps, Water Injection & gas injection wells, WH platform topside Oil & Gas processing, Chemical Treatment, Water treatment & injection facilities, pipeline networks, manifolds, pumps, compressors, well testing facilities including MPFM etc.)
- Ensure WI chemical stock availability, controlling chemical skids dose pump speed and quality of chemical treated seawater prior to injection to the wells.
- Ensure safe and efficient oil / gas separation process at designated platform including PLC system
- Ensure the offshore production process equipment functioning at an optimum level within safe operating parameters.
Education
Eligibility Criteria:
- Primary Professional Education.
- Minimum of 2 years in oil fields as a production operator or 3 years in oil fields related activities.
- Having Industrial safety certificate is a privilege .
- Should possess effective computer skills for preparing simple reports
- Should be able to operate offshore platform process equipment such as pumps and separators.
- Must have the ability to communicate, basic knowledge of English would be an asset.
- Must be familiar with relevant wellhead and process knowledge.
- Should be able to work under stress and severe weather conditions.
