As an intern at our Bohemia site, you will assist in the testing, and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems using standard and specialized test equipment.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Test and troubleshoot electronic components and systems
• Gather and analyze data to support engineering and production activities
• Read and interpret electronic schematics to diagnose and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards in all tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress and issues.
• Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and production schedules.
• Lift and move equipment and components weighing up to 20 lbs as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and ensure seamless integration of electronic systems
• Recommends and/or proposes process improvements
• Understands and complies with all Company, safety rules and regulations
Qualifications: Requirements/Knowledge:
Education Required:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited electronics or engineering program.
• Previous experience or coursework related to electronics and troubleshooting
Skill Level Required:
• Experience utilizing electronic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzer, power supplies etc
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills
Desired Characteristics:
Ability to troubleshoot to component level
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Understanding of IPC-A-610 standards
The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour . This posting is expected to close on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
