Job Summary

Essential Functions
- Supervise all field aspects of construction including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor coordination
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
- Create and maintain daily/weekly lookahead schedules
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and adjust work plans as necessary to meet deadlines
- Track project changes and monitor field productivity metrics
- Promote and uphold a strong safety culture onsite
- Communicate professionally with project owners, inspectors, and agency representatives
- Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize field efficiency
Required Skills and Abilities
- Experience in mechanical piping, valves, sewage, and storm drainage systems on public works or municipal projects
- Background in street/roadway projects preferred
- Experience managing union trades is a plus
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Proven leadership skills and ability to direct crews and subcontractors
- Proficient in time management and meeting project deadlines
Travel Requirements
- This position requires regular travel Monday through Friday
- Occasional travel outside of Southern California may be required
