Mechanical Systems Stress Analyst will lead, supervise and execute activities associated with stress evaluation tasks for complex mechanical systems (i.e. Test Rigs, Gearboxes and Engine Systems for both Civil and Military programs).
In this role you will use some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance; you will use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
You'll have access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems, may use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Execute the stress analysis that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
- Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
- Support formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
- Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
- Support design engineers to find best design solutions for mechanical arrangements
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Monitor and report project status, business issues and significant developments to design team
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Qualifications/Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
- Previous proven experience in Stress Analysis and Structure Dynamics simulation techniques and Rotor-Dynamics Fundamentals
- Experience in aeronautical engineering
- Experience with FEM Tools (Ansys, Nastran)
- Knowledge of CAD design tools (preferable NX & Teamcenter)
- Strong technical attitude and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize the working tasks
- Fluency in English and Italian language, both written and oral
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
