JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently sourcing experienced Mechanical Fitters/Technicians to support our Field Services Portfolio across the Otway Region of Victoria.

We are looking for candidates with strong commitment to safety, enjoy working in a team, self-motivated and can prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Wood is recruiting for skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitters/Technicians.

Location: Otway Region of Victoria - site based

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Qualifications

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification/s
• 5+ years' experience in Oil & Gas
• Working at heights
• Confined space
• Advanced skills and knowledge necessary to isolate, diagnose, analyse and rectify complex equipment related problems
• Previous experience with permit to work processes within hazardous areas
• Proven ability to follow and apply good HSE principles and behaviours
• Proven ability to work within a team
• Great communication skills (written and verbal)
• Exposure to working with Work Area Permit Systems
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, drawings and isometric
• High attention to safety, quality and team collaboration.

The successful candidate will undergo medical and background checks, and will be required to provide certificates, tickets before undergoing medical.
