Role Overview:
The Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for executing the process activities on the shop floor on specialized manufacturing processes used in GE Aerospace engine part manufacturing. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of special processes, including programming, equipment usage, and prototype production. The Manufacturing Specialist will collaborate with various teams to support their process teams and maintain their process execution.

T he ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and hands-on experience in specialized manufacturing processes, particularly welding and heat treatment of high-alloy materials. They should demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines, vacuum furnaces, and other workshop equipment while adhering to aviation industry standards. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to drive process improvements and maintain high-quality standards.

- Perform welding and heat treatment processes for high-alloy parts in compliance with aviation standards.
- Professionally operate and maintain welding equipment, heat treatment vacuum furnaces, and CNC devices in the workshop.
- Utilize workshop capabilities to meet the team's fixture and tool requirements.
- Provide operator support to the team for processes applied in the workshop and for new equipment to be introduced in the future.
- Pay close attention to occupational health and safety and ensure safe working conditions.
- Respond quickly to prototype manufacturing needs, offer creative solutions, and improve processes.
- Take part in maintaining and improving the quality standards in the workshop and participate in collective quality improvement activities.
- Ensure the maintenance and organization of workshop equipment.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of Industrial High School, Technical High School, or Vocational College in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Machining departments.
- Experience in special processes used in aviation industry.
- At least 10 years of experience in welding processes and heat treatments of high-alloy materials (Nickel alloys, Titanium, etc.).
- Experience in operating CNC lathes, milling machines, or other CNC machines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with production standards used in aviation.
- Knowledge of materials and the ability to select and identify materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measurement tools.
- Experience in quality system requirements.
- Intermediate level of English proficiency.
- Awareness and sensitivity to occupational health and safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
