Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate press brakes, bandsaws, shearing, and plate bending equipment.
- Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate various machines used in metal processing.
- Unload and stage raw materials using forklifts.
- Conduct inventory counts on consignment materials and report to Planning/Management.
- Wear PPE in designated areas and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Accurately interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
- Knowledge of measuring tools including thread gauges.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, lifting (up to 45 lbs.), bending, and repetitive movements for 6-8 hours daily.
- Willingness to work overtime and various shifts as needed.
- Flexible and willing to be cross-trained across job functions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range:
- $21.43 - $22.94 an hour
