Short description

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Grab Bucket Operator to join our team on a deep foundation project in France for a summer replacement period (4 weeks).

Function description

Your main responsibilities in this position will be:

• Operate hydraulic grab bucket machinery to excavate trenches and shafts for deep foundation work.
• Ensure precise handling and placement of materials according to project specifications.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations on site.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating hydraulic grab buckets on deep foundation or civil engineering projects.
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification (EU-recognized preferred).
• Familiarity with deep foundation techniques such as diaphragm wall construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and excavation plans.
• Strong awareness of site safety and environmental practices.
• Work permit to work in France
• Valid medical fit for work certification or willing to obtain it on short notice
• Good English/French level
