Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Manage product configuration in Oracle ERP for Avionics products.
  • Interface with upstream and downstream stakeholders to manage data evolution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assess material for the most efficient planning model in conjunction with Material Planning partners.
  • Set strategy for product master data structure in alignment with new programs, process changes in the shops, and planning initiatives.
  • Serve as key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ERP initiatives.
  • Work through very complex technical challenges in the ERP system, solving issues and developing new solutions with new and innovative approaches to optimize inventory.
  • Own, define, and manage item and configuration data in the Oracle ERP Item Master across several Aviation System sites. Understand downstream impact of Item Master and Bill of Materials data, ensuring the right results are achieved in the MRP plan and in the shops.
  • Manage massive transition of Oracle Item Master and Configuration data to transfer products to new production sites.
  • Participate in key initiatives requiring significant data transitions.
  • Utilize, maintain, and create standard work documents.
  • Utilize Oracle and Spotfire reporting tools to perform data analysis. Identify opportunities for business savings in areas such as inventory reduction and obsolescence management.
  • Develop skills in GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK, initially focused on daily management and problem solving.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPIM Certification.
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Prior Data Management and/or Data Analytics Experience in a Manufacturing domain.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team to accomplish priorities.
  • Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Ability to effectively communicate status, issue resolution, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster a culture of excellence, continuously executing and deploying process improvements and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands in fast-paced environments.
  • Engineering Change Process experience utilizing a PLM system.
  • Expertise in Oracle ERP system functionality, especially in Planning or Sourcing domains.
  • Knowledge of GE management tools, such as SupportCentral and ServiceNow.
  • Curiosity to explore data.
