Carter Services, Inc. in Torrance, CA is hiring a Lead Solar Installer who's ready to get things DONE. This is a full-time contract position where you'll be overseeing installations and coaching your team in doing an excellent job.

Depending on experience, you'll earn $28.00 - $40.00/hour. We also offer various pay incentives.

You'll work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with overtime available.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

Here's a straightforward look at your day as our Lead Solar Installer:

• Skillfully leading and supervising a team in completing safe, efficient, and accurate installations
• Providing mentorship to help installers learn more and improve their skills
• Following design plans to accurately install rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems
• Expertly diagnosing and fixing problems with solar PV systems
• Ensuring all team members follow safety regulations and quality guidelines

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO...

Has:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in solar panel installation
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, system design, and safety procedures

Can:

• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team
• Test the quality and efficiency of installed systems
• Perform physically demanding work, including working in high places and lifting heavy weights
