Role Details:
Join a dynamic engineering team delivering high-impact solutions in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. We're seeking a proactive Mechanical/Piping Design Lead to manage and drive detailed engineering output from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the design team across mechanical/piping disciplines.
- Manage detailed deliverables including ISOs, 3D models, fabrication drawings, BOMs.
- Ensure design quality, compliance, and technical integrity within budget and schedule.
- Conduct site surveys, design reviews, and document control.
- Support procurement, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); IOSH and CompEx desirable.
- 5+ years' experience in industrial/compliance-driven environments.
- Must have previous Industrial Manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of ATEX, PED, CDM, pipework stress and routing.
- Advanced CAD and 3D modelling proficiency.
