JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced NDT Inspector to join our Tuboscope team in Tananger. In this role, you will perform inspection and testing of drill stem elements and related equipment, with a focus on Wired Drill Pipe. You will work closely with a skilled inspection team in our modern facilities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with all applicable procedures. This is a hands-on, technical position with opportunities for both professional and personal development.

With operations in Stavanger, Florø, and Mongstad, we employ around 150 dedicated professionals. Our Tananger department is known for its expertise in drill pipe inspection and technical support. Key responsibilities:

• Conduct NDT and visual inspection of Drill Stem Elements and OCTG.
• Inspect equipment in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
• Lead inspection assignments, including reporting and documentation.
• Test and inspect IntelliServ Wired Drill Pipe components.
• Participate in pre- and post-inspection activities.

Qualifications and skills

Essential qualifications:

• NS-EN ISO 9712 Level II certification in MT, PT, and UT (or equivalent).
• Experience in NDT inspection.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with drilling equipment.
• Knowledge of drill string components and related equipment.
• Communication skills in Norwegian
