Your Role and Responsibilities
Join our dynamic Production Engineering team and report to the Product and Production Engineering Manager. As a key member of the Smart Power team in Västerås, you'll be at the heart of innovation within ABB's Electrification unit. Our mission is to manufacture cutting-edge low-voltage products, including large contactors, soft starters, pilot devices, and safety products.
In this exciting role, you will lead the development and optimization of production lines, ensuring they meet and exceed technical specifications throughout both the development phase and their active lifecycle. Work closely with a talented team, providing support and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and implement innovative procedures that will set new standards for the role and the industry.

- Develop and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, including continuous balancing of production lines.
- Identify and solve production-related challenges using creative and effective solutions based on data analysis and performance trends.
- Lead and support improvement initiatives by managing projects focused on workflow optimization and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and analyze production data to uncover improvement opportunities and drive strategic decisions.
Qualifications for the Role
- You are a self-motivated individual who takes initiative in solving problems.
- You are a driven and analytical person who understands complex relationships, takes initiative, and makes well-informed decisions to solve problems effectively.
- You have an Engineering Degree or another relevant Academic Background.
- We appreciate experience from working in production or working with processes, where you've gained a practical understanding of how things connect and flow.
- Fluent in Swedish and English written and spoken
- Positive and proactive mindset, collaborative, clear in communication and result oriented personality that enjoy solving problems
- Lean Six Sigma Green belt is beneficial
