About the Role
Weatherford is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Operator - PCP to join our offshore operations team. This role involves the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Progressing Cavity Pump (PCP) systems and Driveheads in offshore environments. Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission PCP systems and Driveheads on offshore jack-up rigs.
• Assemble motors, pulleys, and belts onto Driveheads.
• Troubleshoot PCP and Drivehead issues in the field.
• Perform functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of equipment.
• Calibrate Gas Lift valves using a test bench (training provided).
• Participate in daily rig operations, safety meetings, and JHA reviews.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable condition.
• Inspect used parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Follow maintenance procedures for unloading, disassembly, cleaning, testing, and storage.
• Rig up/down equipment and perform repairs per work instructions.
• Service mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic components.
• Plan and coordinate jobs from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Uphold Weatherford's policies, standards, and HSE practices.
• Promote continual improvement in safety, quality, and environmental protection.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc/BASc or Technician Diploma in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience in oilfield operations, rotating equipment, or industrial maintenance.
• Prior experience with PCP and Drivehead installation is an asset.
• Knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform accurate field calculations under pressure.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work offshore, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
