The role?
A new role has arisen for a Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our Tooling Workshop in Aberdeen on a permanent basis. This role will be to carry out the inspection, service, repair & test of all EnerMech tool rental equipment. Reporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Technician, you will ensure all equipment complies with the relevant in-house and industry standards. Other duties and responsibilities will include;
To be successful for this position you will come from a proven mechanical background and be time served in mechanical engineering. You will have HAV's and PAT training and come from a service and hire equipment background. It is preferred that you have previous experience of hire equipment for the oil and gas industry.

- Inspection, service, repair and test of all EnerMech tool rental equipment in accordance with in-house procedures
- Record above using EnerMech reporting system documents
- Perform Hand Arm Vibration Testing, Portable Appliance Testing, Welder Load Testing
- Assume responsibility for workshop in the absence of workshop supervisor
- Ensure project requirements are met within time allowed
