For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton, and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.
We are recruiting for motivated and skilled Mechanical Fitters with Rotating Equipment experience, to be part of our team at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Queensland. This role offers the opportunity to thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pump alignment
- Preservation of rotating and static equipment
- Demonstrated experience in pressure testing
- Asset maintenance background
- Experience with data assessment, ordering spares and recording (Microsoft Excel).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Rotating experience is essential
- Must be trade qualified with proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, vessels, pipework, PSV's etc.
- Knowledge of Turbines and ancillary equipment
- Machine alignment principles
- Hydro testing
- Air compressors and associated ancillary equipment
- Flange management, Hydrotesting, Valve and pipe installation experience required.
