We are looking for experienced Drill Rig Operator for Anchor Equipment who would like to join in! This is an excellent opportunity to continue to build a great career, by generating experience within the engineering sector.

Function description

As a Support Fluid Operator / Mud Engineer , you will be performing the following activities:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment to install anchor systems according to project specifications.
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in drilling operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling rigs and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor drilling operations to ensure the quality and accuracy of anchor installations.
  • Work closely with the site manager, engineers, and other team members to coordinate drilling activities and resolve any operational issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of drilling activities, equipment usage, any issues encountered during operations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues with drilling rigs and equipment, making necessary adjustments or repairs.

Requirements

In addition to having experience in this area, we have the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or focus on anchor systems and port engineering projects.
  • Proficient in operating various types of drilling rigs and associated equipment. Strong understanding of anchor installation techniques and ground conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in drilling operations. Certification in Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written bilingual communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve operational issues promptly.

Certifications:
  • Relevant certification in drill rig operation and maintenance.
  • Certification in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Certification in environmental safety practices and regulations.
