ABOUT THE ROLE

Weatherford Roma, QLD is seeking Wireline Field Operator I - IV. This position participates in well site logging to obtain accurate borehole information as per Weatherford client specificationsThis role undertakes hands-on tasks and utilisation of Weatherford 's equipment's, machineries, and systems. The role uses advanced techniques and practices to complete assignments.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES

• Lift, handle, make up and dress, rig up, rig down logging tools.
• Drive logging trucks and other vehicles to well sites, for service or as required.
• Keep truck fuelled, maintaining truck history books, serviced & complete pre-departure checks.
• Clean and service equipment after jobs.
• Handle and make up equipment for calibrations.
• Assist in repair and maintenance operations.
• Keep cable head and cable serviced.
• Maintain tool service reports, labelling tools with current status.
• Present a professional service attitude to the customer.
• Fill out service reports, failure reports and well reports.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

• Possess Heavy Rigid (HR) Driving license.
• Field Operator I - 0 - 1 year of experience in heavy resource industry.
• Field Operator II - 1 - 2 ½ years in Oil & Gas - Wireline Segment
• Field Operator III - 2 ½ - 4 years in Oil & Gas - Wireline Segment
• Field Operator IV - 4 + years in Oil & Gas - Wireline Segment
• Good mechanical knowledge
• Be available for prolonged field work as required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to follow instructions, self-motivated, committed to safety and service quality.
• Ability to work with team members and external customers.

MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS

• Work Schedule: May Include Rotational and/or Shift Work.
• Work Atmosphere: May include varying weather conditions.
• Work Type: Indoor / Outdoor Work.
• Travel Time: 40-50%.
• Requires International Mobility: Yes
• Must be open to a roster of 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off, though may change depending on the operations.
• Roma, QLD based applicants are highly encouraged to apply. If outside Roma, must be willing to travel to the Roma base during swing.
• Shuttle services & staff house provided for work purpose at ROMA
