Join our Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) project. Honeywell will be installing and replacing residential and commercialelectrical meters for electrical utility services across the province ofOntario and in selected deployment areas.

We are seeking a Residential Electric Meter Installer tojoin our team in Ontario. As a key member of our installation crew, you'll beresponsible for efficiently installing, replacing, and testing residentialelectric meters across the province, braving both hot and cold weatherconditions. Your role will involve troubleshooting defective or problematicmeters and utilizing cutting-edge data collection tools through handheld tabletcomputers. Interacting professionally with local utility customers, you'll upholdthe highest standards of accuracy and customer service.

Safety is paramount in our operations, and you'll beexpected to strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, conductingthorough hazard and risk assessments for each task.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing, replace and test meters that monitor electricity flow into a home or business.
• Use your electrical skills to change out older meters and replace them with digital meter
  equipment.
• Test existing meters.
• Use the proper tools to calibrate the meters while in the field.
• Adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Travel throughout Ontario is a part of this role.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 education)
• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Customer required background verification checks must be completed and approval maintained

WE VALUE

• Prior experience in residential electric meter installation
• Proficiency as a meter reader
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Ability to thrive in diverse outdoor environments
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work independently
• Customer service experience is highly desirable
• Basic computer skills are advantageous
