Assembly Concepts is overall accountable for introducing new wind turbine products into Vestas' Nacelles factories. As Manufacturing Lead, you will have a key role in the development phases of our new products into the global ramp up and into serial production.
Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Lead is the technical anchor point for the New Product Introduction in Vestas Nacelles Manufacturing. You will ensure the technical alignment between the different work stream in our NPI projects e.g., Manufacturing Concepts, Tooling, Process Design, Quality and Logistics.
The Manufacturing Lead also support building the strategic direction for the different products in manufacturing and get alignment among Vestas Nacelles factories with relevant production.

Additional information
Location: DK, Aarhus
The first year you will be expected to be at our Factory in DK, Munkebo a couple of days per week.
Expected travel approximately 30 days annually.

- You have understanding of our production lines and the optimum utilization of our capacity
- You lead a team committed to a specific New Product Introduction on either Nacelle or Hub
- Act as technical counterpart to the Project Manager
Qualifications
- You have an engineering degree
- A relevant background within Manufacturing, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Extensive working experiences within manufacturing
- We prefer experience in wind industry
- Fluent in English both in writing and verbally
- Experience from working with DfM - Design for for Assembly, Test, Logistics, transport etc. Relevant for manufacturing
- We prefer knowledge of SAP & Windchill applications
