Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Production Supervisor at ABB Oy, Motion Service Division in Helsinki. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the production. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in continuous improvement of production processes. Each day, you will manage human resources and work with safety related tasks. You get to work in a customer focused organization fulfilling fast-paced delivery expectations. Work will be executed in one shift. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Supervising the retrofit manufacturing production line assembly and testing work as well as safety related tasks • Leading the daily work and following up production KPI's (OTD, quality, safety, productivity) • Developing the production processes is an essential part of your work • Production planning and development • Managing the production process and ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate your understanding in electrical drawings and production testing requirements is essential
• A few years of working experience is a must. Previous supervisor experience is considered an advantage
• Established skills and understanding of production and logistics processes is essential
• Possessing good organizing and communication skills
• You enjoy motivating your team through a positive attitude
• You are at ease communicating in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• Possessing development-oriented mindset and hands-on working attitude
• Relevant IT skills (SAP, MS Office tools; Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Ideally, you have an understanding of Lean principles and basic quality management methods
• B.Sc. in electrical or automation or industrial engineering degree or alternatively work experience of electrical works that can be considered equal to formal education
