Your role and responsibilities

** Full-time internship for Winter 2025 located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu ** As a Quality Intern (Mechanical OR Industrial Engineering), you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB and is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The work model for the role is 100% onsite. Responsibilities: • Participate in improvement/corrective projects - New technologies. • Provide solutions to problems causing internal and external quality defects using a DMAIC/8D Lean 6 Sigma structure. • Conduct evaluations of technical issues to obtain necessary approvals for first parts and production. • Perform statistical analyses to identify areas for improvement. • Update technical documentation.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's student in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferably 3rd or 4th year, seeking a 2nd or 3rd internship).
• French is mandatory.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
