Position Specific Description

Join NextEra Energy's Genesis Solar Plant as an Entry-Level Production Technician, assisting in the efficient and safe operation of our solar facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in operating solar power equipment.
Support routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Monitor system performance and report issues.
Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Participate in training programs.

Employees in this entry-level position perform power plant operations as well as maintenance on station equipment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under direct supervision:

• Repairs and calibrates equipment
• Monitors equipment performance through testing
• Applies basic electrical, mechanical, or I and C skills
• Must train and qualify for Production Technician II within one year of hire
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 0+ years
• Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL)

The estimated base pay for this position is $62,400.00 to $93,600.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
