Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders. The work model for the role is: Onsite (Li-Onsite) This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division in Ormond Beach, FL. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan. • Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules. • Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan. • Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.

Qualifications for the role

• High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
• Minimum one year of ordering or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, etc.
• The team member regularly works in an office environment with moderate computer printer and office traffic noises occur but may need to visit factory areas where loud noise and machinery is running. The team member is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
