Cost Engineer – Stegra Project (Sweden)

Location: Boden, Sweden
Contract: 12-month renewable contract
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Hours: 53 hours per week (Monday - Saturday)
Accommodation: Provided (single-status camp)

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to join the Stegra Project (formerly H2 Green Steel) in Boden, Sweden. This groundbreaking project is developing a 700 MW green hydrogen facility to support sustainable steel production.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading initiative in renewable energy and decarbonization, working in a dynamic environment alongside industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, track, and report project costs to ensure budget control and financial efficiency.
Develop cost forecasts, variance analysis, and risk assessments.
Support procurement teams with cost analysis and vendor cost tracking.
Provide insights into cost impacts, contract changes, and overall financial performance.
Work closely with project teams to drive cost-effective decision-making.

Who We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 5 years in cost control/cost engineering within the energy, construction, or EPC sectors.
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Skills: Proficient in cost management software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Excel).
Eligibility: Candidates with right-to-work in Sweden preferred.
