Main function of the job: -

  Responsible for performing risk assessment programs on projects and liaise with concerned projects engineers accordingly, prevention losses by regular visits to projects site, examining the performance and progress of construction works as well as identify the key areas of risks, analyse, minimise risk associated with construction projects, providing recommendation, analysing losses and sharing information with operation and projects team and senior management.

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Plans and establish risk assessment program and strategies for projects design, materials, workmanship and construction in the oil and gas industry.
• Establish and manages the risk origination procedures and plans, tools for the project.
• Prepare, organise, and chair the risk management review.
• Perform quantities risk assessment (Monte- Carlo analysis) and schedule risk analysis to recommend and monitor the project contingency and the schedule reliability.
• During projects execution prepare and communicate the projects margin trend sensitivities to finance stakeholders.
• Recommend to management and facilitate with state of art knowledge on loss prevention technologies for process risk issues and industry trends that may impact the projects and the organization so that the hazard and risk associate with projects can be identified, evaluated, managed and minimized.
• Investigate failures to determine the level of responsibilities of different parties.
• Prepare risk reports that explain risk potential, negative impact and useful mitigation strategies.
• Present to the senior management the top risk and mitigation plans.
• Conduct detailed risk evaluations of industrial operations and engineering projects.
• Provide training and guidance on safety standards, regulatory compliance and risk management best practices.
• Identify potential hazards, vulnerabilities and exposures that could lead to losses.
• Develop and recommend strategies to mitigate risks and prevent potential losses.
• Assist claim teams in investigating cause of losses, determining, liability and conducting claims surveys when required.
• Conduct assessments to define the charactriscs or intensity of risk before detailing measures that can reduce risks or impact.
• Prepare and communicate the projects margin trend sensitivities to finance stakeholder.
• Prepare risk reports that explain risk potential, negative impact and useful mitigation strategies for management.

Qualifications & Experience: -

• Education: B.Sc. Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in risk engineering, analysis, fire, construction and liability risk assessment in industrial facilities in oil and gas industry.
• Familiar with SAFRAN risk is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
•  Computers skills MS office. 

Summary of Terms & Conditions:
• Work Cycle of 56/21 including Travel Days for American, Eastern and Western         Europe, others 65/21 , including Travel Days
