This is a dynamic role that blends technical expertise with customer interaction. As an Applications Engineer, you'll play a crucial part in supporting external clients, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to the continued success of our cutting-edge solar products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to commercial and utility-scale PV customers via phone and email, addressing product performance, specifications, and general inquiries.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with regional sales teams to support customer webinars, conference calls, and on-site visits.
• Product Improvement: Offer valuable feedback to the engineering team on product performance and emerging market trends.
• Documentation: Create and review technical documentation, including product manuals, specifications, application notes, and internal technical procedures.
• Public Speaking: Represent the company at industry conferences and training seminars, delivering engaging presentations on product capabilities and industry best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and customer service teams to drive successful product applications and solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in electrical, mechanical, or power systems engineering, with a focus on renewable energy (solar) systems.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to support clients and participate in industry events.
• National Electric Code: Familiarity with NEC (National Electric Code) is essential.
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on technical experience in the PV solar industry is preferred.
• Certifications: NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification is a plus but not required.
