Business Development Lead
As a Business Development lead here at Honeywell Industrial Automation in Northern Europe you will be accountable for developing and executing business strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and guiding a team of business development professionals. You will work with cross-functional teams and work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives. In this role, you will impact operational efficiency, lead generation, data analysis, market research, CRM management, sales facilitation, event coordination, market expansion, customer engagement, document management, follow-up, proposal development, and effective communication. Your role is instrumental in assisting the business development success and contributing to the organization's growth and success. You will report directly to our Snr. Sales Director for Northern Europe/DACH and you'll work out of our Amsterdam Schiphol location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell Industrial Automation by driving business development strategies and initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for driving new business within the BESS industry across Northern Europe, DACH and beyond thereby increasing our installed base allocation with new customers and growing our footprint across all aspects of the BESS industrial vertical
You will be the primary customer interface responsible for the development of new business and management of relationships, with existing and new customers. You will need to have/develop an understanding of the customer's business, drivers, and organization, and an understanding of the value that Honeywell brings to the customer to drive to real business outcomes.
You will be responsible for dissemination of key messages, initiatives, and of information pertaining to the value Honeywell brings to that specific customer at all levels of the customer's organization. Business partner to the customer, establishes a defensible barrier to competitors, maximizes the business potential of their customers, and acts as the primary supplier interface for all products, solutions and services with this customer. Champions the customers' needs and requirements within the Honeywell organization.
You will drives sales, identify and generate opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and/or attending trade shows, seminars and relevant industry events and with the collaboration of technical colleagues, you will provide education of Honeywell product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops. You will manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system (SFDC) . You will analyse competitive intelligence and market trends. You will work with Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) to strategically align sellers and customer accounts.
Business Relationships
Develop customer relationships engaging customers with little or no installed base. Calling at all levels, including senior levels, of target customer organizations; engaging early in the customer buying process to discover customer needs Honeywell can fulfil.
Sales Process
Continuously identifies new sales opportunities and focuses on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions in the account. Manage and build customer contacts in New business serving as Honeywell's ambassador in the market place. Focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, and contract negotiations, for pursuits in play.
Customers
Industrial customers in the process industries including, technical buyers, economic buyers, executives. Customers at all levels in an organization including executive level decision makers; pursue growth through regular face to face meetings and winning new customers to enlarge the assigned customer base
