This position reports to
Regional Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement the marketing strategy in the assigned area. Each day, you will lead, develop, and coach the Marketing team. You will also showcase your expertise by designing and managing the marketing action plan to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in Vadodara, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and expansion. • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to identify, map, and define development activities • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts • Identify and pursue new business leads, and work with cross-functional teams to convert leads into sales • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market, industry, and competitors to inform business development strategies. • Foster relationships with customers, communicating scope requirements to Product Management and R&D to bridge the product gap. Collaborate with other ABB sales teams to target strategic customers. • Identify and develop new business opportunities, collaborating with product specialists and technical proposal managers to create tailored solutions for customers

Qualifications for the role
- Experience of 10+ years and above in relevant field of rotating machines.
- Education: B.Tech Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
- Should have good communication and presentation skills along with critical thinking.
- Good knowledge of market, industry, segments, channel, regions.
- Applications of MV motors, positioning in market, customer relationship.
- Pro-active approach to market.
- High motivation and attitude to support organization to achieve their goals.
