Regional Business Development Manager - Asia Pacific
JOB DESCRIPTION

Key tasks and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new clients and build relationships with them.
  • Maintain good relationships with existing clients.
  • Encouraging innovation within NOV APL.
  • Market APL products in new energy sector and oil and gas.
  • Involve in conceptual review for prospect.
  • Propose commercial strategy for prospect.
  • Final review of the quality and completeness of bid submission.
  • Initiating a Tender Kick Off Meeting, Tender Early Concept Review, Tender Review and Risk Assessment Review.
  • Ensure an NDA between APL and the Client is established, as and when required.
  • Prequalification of APL in clients' approved vendor list.
  • Managed APL accounts in clients' VDMS system.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business/ Economics/ Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of similar experience with engineering or project management, sales, business development, in offshore oil and gas, energy, renewables, low carbon industries.
  • Excellent understanding of technical, contractual and commercial aspects of offshore technology, engineering, procurement, construction and installation contracts.
  • Structured and analytical skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and negotiate in a solution oriented and constructive fashion.
  • Ability to transform problems into challenges/ solutions.
  • Good inter-personal skill.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and CRM would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and multiple language capability is highly desired for customer engagement purposes.
  • Regional travelling is required.
