Key tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify potential new clients and build relationships with them.
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients.
- Encouraging innovation within NOV APL.
- Market APL products in new energy sector and oil and gas.
- Involve in conceptual review for prospect.
- Propose commercial strategy for prospect.
- Final review of the quality and completeness of bid submission.
- Initiating a Tender Kick Off Meeting, Tender Early Concept Review, Tender Review and Risk Assessment Review.
- Ensure an NDA between APL and the Client is established, as and when required.
- Prequalification of APL in clients' approved vendor list.
- Managed APL accounts in clients' VDMS system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Business/ Economics/ Engineering.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of similar experience with engineering or project management, sales, business development, in offshore oil and gas, energy, renewables, low carbon industries.
- Excellent understanding of technical, contractual and commercial aspects of offshore technology, engineering, procurement, construction and installation contracts.
- Structured and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate and negotiate in a solution oriented and constructive fashion.
- Ability to transform problems into challenges/ solutions.
- Good inter-personal skill.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and CRM would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and multiple language capability is highly desired for customer engagement purposes.
- Regional travelling is required.
