Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Electrification Smart Buildings (ELSB) China Business Line. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive market understanding of the ELSB in China, including market size, segment & application, customer needs and competitors' movements. This role is critical in identifying growth opportunities, defining long-term growth strategies, facilitating the deployment of key initiatives, explore the in-organic growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough market research to understand the ELSB business line landscape in China. • Analyze customer needs and preferences to identify potential growth opportunities. • Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and market trends • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement long-term growth strategies. • Facilitate the deployment of key initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives. • Coordinate and drive key step-up growth initiatives to support long-term growth opportunities. • Explore the in-organic growth opportunities, facilitate to ELSB leadership team to define the in-organic growth strategies and roadmap. • Prepare and present reports on market insights and growth opportunities to senior management. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including industry association, experts, customers, partners and startups.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in business development, market research, or a related role, preferably in the electrification or smart buildings sector, or management consulting firms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
