Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join the LightEdison Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and a proven track record in B2B sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting our construction services to developers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the solar sector.

- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with solar EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms), and other industry stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Strategy: Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and offer tailored construction services that align with their project goals and timelines.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver with the help of Estimating and the Marketing Director compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients,
showcasing the value of our construction expertise. - Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the pre-construction, estimating and engineering teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and successful execution.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and generate regular reports on sales performance and pipeline development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the solar industry or a related construction field.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of solar construction processes, project lifecycles, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
