Focus on driving sales growth within the Food and Beverage sector and providing technical support to key accounts in the SEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propel sales growth within the Food and Beverage sector across the SEA region.
- Identify and develop new business prospects by collaborating with the SEA Commercial Leader and team members.
- Offer technical assistance to key accounts by leveraging lab equipment and working with Application Development Engineers (ADEs).
- Work with authorized distributors and direct customers to manage orders, develop new projects, and gather insights on competitors.
- Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products for their applications.
- Serve as the account manager for all customers and distributors within the region.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create new products based on market requirements.
- Ensure customer demands are updated to align with target delivery timelines.
- Log opportunities and document call reports in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Identify business opportunities and assess risks for the designated countries.
- Achieve sales, new product introduction (NPI) sales, and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with R&D, Marketing, and other relevant departments.
- Support customers according to global strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Food Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in both technical and commercial sales roles.
- Willingness to provide troubleshooting and lab testing to assist key accounts.
- Experience working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com. Strong technical sales skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Enthusiasm for exploring new ideas and creating innovative business models.
- Experience working in multinational environments and collaborating with global teams.
- Confident and persuasive communicator with strong negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional, global teams.
- Excellent communication skills with good presentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
- Fluent in both Bahasa and English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Japanese, Chinese, or Korean is an advantage.
- Open to travel as required to support key accounts.
