About the Role

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Business Support Analyst to oversee contract administration, cost control, and financial planning within the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) division. The role ensures compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and international best practices while working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & Financial Control
  • Develop and consolidate the HSEQ budget for annual and five-year planning cycles, ensuring alignment with project targets and corporate strategy.
  • Monitor financial performance, tracking expenditures against budgets, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee cost planning models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with corporate financial targets.
  • Support operations and project teams in HSEQ planning and procedures, ensuring financial sustainability.
Contract & Procurement Management
  • Manage contract administration, including performance reporting, invoicing, accruals, and compliance oversight.
  • Lead the post-award contract process, including the development of Contract Work Orders (CWO), final payments, and contract close-out procedures.
  • Review and finalise purchase requisitions, ensuring alignment with financial policies and operational needs.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, collaborating with technical teams to ensure products and services meet business requirements.
  • Monitor contractual spending limits, ensuring purchase orders in SAP align with pre-approved budgets and contracted rates.
Operational & Strategic Support
  • Facilitate the development and execution of contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain HSEQ manpower progress reports, including training plans and organisational change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including Table of Financial Authorities (TOFA) and Work Program & Budget (WP&B) requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance cost efficiency and contract performance.

About You

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in administration and financial management.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of contract management, cost control, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills for financial performance tracking and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple priorities.
