Are you a young-spirited professional seeking a challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business? By joining our office in Rijswijk, you will become part of the Benelux sales team for the Asset Management Solutions (AMS) group at EMERSON.

With technical and commercial responsibility, you will work as Business Development Manager and be responsible for driving our AMS business in The Netherlands.

In a constantly evolving market space where our expertise and highly innovative solutions for Asset Management are in growing demand, you will identify new leads, pursue projects and fulfill the needs of current customers. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across various business units all over the world will help you drive further innovation and success for our customers.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Being passionate about generating new opportunities, visiting our Dutch customers and providing value to their business.

• Understanding customers and bringing back input for the team to support developing a project based approach with our consultants.

• Aligning priorities and focus areas with the sales leadership and establishing a prioritized strategic plan.

• Providing technical support to customers (internal and external) as the need arises and connect customers to experts as needed.

• Developing sales initiatives, participate in and attend events and conferences as an EMERSON ambassador.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Sales / business development experience in a commercial role

• Curiosity about technology and innovations, comfortable to work in a technical environment

• Proficiency in English and Dutch

• Availability to travel in The Netherlands (and occasionally in Europe)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Track record with distributors and system integrators as a sales channel

• Experience within Industrial Software / Automation Infrastructures / Rotating Equipment
