About the Job
As Business Development Manager - Technology, you will participate in identifying and developing new business in the ethylene industry, developing long-term customer relationshiops, maintenance of alliances and partnerships and promoting our products and services. You will be working with key support groups including our Commercial (Sales), Contracts/ Legal, Finance/Tax, Estimating, Project Management and Technical disciplines.

About the Job
As Business Development Manager - Technology, you will participate in identifying and developing new business in the ethylene industry, developing long-term customer relationshiops, maintenance of alliances and partnerships and promoting our products and services. - Identify and develop new business opportunities including proactive involvement in the sales / pricing strategy
- Work internally across functional groups to develop viable solutions
- Gather competitive intelligence and provide market feedback on technology and commercial positions
- Develop the sales strategy for individual proposals and work with tendering to assure and deliver a quality proposal effort
- Assist in developing/implementing growth strategies
- Prepare commercial offers and give client presentations

About You

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of ten years' experience in business development, client account management and technology related sales
- History and background in technology and proprietary equipment to understand the technology business
- Commercially astute, with experience in sales/business development and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication skills required
- Capable of driving the technology differentiators by being aware of options in the marketplace
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize new business opportunities based upon timing, the reality of projects, and the value for Technip Energies (TEN)
