Coordinating product inspection activities to validate the customs shipping documents vs. physically shipped goods with the support of respective sales departments.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Screen and record transactions to company's Trade Compliance procedures; report any concerns to the local Gatekeeper.
- Coordinating Customs clearance (import and export procedures) with the customs broker company as per Turkish Customs Regulations.
- Checking shipping papers and import/export declarations before it is officially presented to the Customs Authorities by Customs Broker Company to make sure that the shipment is compliant as per Turkish Customs regulations.
- Coordinating and Confirming with the Business Units the correctness of the items shipped and detailed on the shipment papers.
- Responsible of physical inspection of the goods with the shipping papers before import/export
- Communication with Customs broker(s) & Customs Consultant Company
- Checking the files sent by the Customs Consultant Company whose transaction has been completed
- Trade Compliance screening and follow up the relevant procedures and ensure ethical behavior
- Updating their knowledge periodically on Emerson products to ensure accurate inspection.
- Timely reporting of any failures or issues
- Own and apply the relevant ISO procedures
- Archiving of the Order Files as per Emerson record retention policy
- Observe the "Business Ethics" stipulated by Emerson.
- Practice and promote the "Think Customer" culture in all aspects of the role.

- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Good communications skills and proficiency in English - written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration abilities.
- Dynamic and very well organized person, details oriented.
- Military service has been completed for those who have served.

- Digital literacy, preferably knowledge of ERP or another system.
