Your role and responsibilities

Join ABB's Process Automation Business Area within the Process Industries Division and be part of a team that drives innovation and excellence across diverse industries such as Pulp & Paper, Mining, Metals, Food & Beverage, Hydrogen, Data Centers, and Cement. You will work closely with Process Industries' seven business lines at a global level to align and prioritize their strategic initiatives in accordance with the overall goals of the division. You will translate these strategic plans into actionable tasks, ensuring their efficient and effective completion. These initiatives will focus on our division's strategic areas, including digitalization, sustainability, automation, and service. The key tasks and responsibilities of this role include: - Securing execution and implementation: Define priorities and targets, monitor progress and risks, establish metrics to measure success, and develop change management plans. - Optimizing processes and reporting: Ensure projects follow sound methodologies and execution practices, synthesize facts into clear analyses, and prepare comprehensive reports for management. - Maximizing outcomes: Establish continuous improvement actions, share best practices and lessons learned, and collaborate with internal communications for regular strategy updates.

Qualifications for the role

• To be successful in this role, you bring a minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager, with a strong background in business strategy and organizational change and transformation. Your experience in industries such as Mining, Pulp & Paper, Metals, Hydrogen, Food & Beverage, Cement, Data Centers, or similar fields, as well as your knowledge in Process Automation, Sustainability, Service, and/or Digital, will be highly valued.
• You will work closely with Process Industries' seven business lines at a global level, aligning and prioritizing their strategic initiatives in accordance with the overall goals of the division. With your expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI-and experience in Power Apps-you will translate strategic plans into actionable tasks, ensuring their efficient and effective completion. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to define priorities, monitor progress, and develop metrics to measure success. Additionally, your ability to make strategic recommendations will be crucial in optimizing processes and ensuring projects follow sound methodologies.
• In this role, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to work collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as you prepare comprehensive reports for management, share best practices, and collaborate with internal communications for regular strategy updates.
