Some of the other services available to customers include, bulk fuel supply, oils and lubricants, fuel equipment solutions, a fleet fuel card offering, an enticing customer loyalty program and expert advice on fuel management.

about the role
Chevron Australia Downstream (CAD) has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative to join the StarCard Sales team. Reporting to the National Card Manager, this 12-month maximum term role will be ideally based in Hamilton, Queensland. The role may be considered to be based in other locations in Australia.

This role will be responsible for the growth and marketing of the StarCard program to prospective customers. In addition, provide support to the retention and growth of mid-market existing StarCard customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Actively pursuing and securing new business opportunities for StarCard by identifying and targeting potential leads, including following up on site-generated leads, collaborating with partners, and engaging in local prospecting efforts.
  • Proactively engaging with existing mid-market StarCard customers to enhance retention and increase their transaction volumes.
  • Designing and executing effective sales strategies aimed at meeting StarCard's sales objectives and targets.
  • Growing, sustaining, and utilizing a network of relevant contacts to facilitate new business acquisitions.
  • Negotiating and finalizing agreements within authorized limits to achieve favorable commercial outcomes for Chevron.
  • Staying informed about competitors, market dynamics, and product trends.
  • Working collaboratively within Chevron to create proposals that align with client needs and ensure seamless implementation with WEX.
  • Ensuring that all sales activities, including lead conversions and opportunities, are documented in a database and reported weekly against sales targets.
  • Being prepared to travel both inter- and intrastate on short notice.

  • Excellent analytical skills included intermediate to advanced used of excel and experience with Power BI would be highly regarded
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365 suite, Power BI (preferred)
