Purpose of the Position:
Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the midstream natural gas energy sector and power transmission lines from greenfield to M&A to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The position will also be responsible for monitoring and leading the power transmission development.
Responsabilities and Job Functions:
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends such as natural gas storage, power transmission lines, biomethane or hydrogen usages, customers, partnerships, and services- or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Lead and structure projects from origination up to commercial operational date, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, directing negotiations with off-takers and investors, and developing and presenting the project documentation to obtain internal authorizations to go ahead with the project.
Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key partners from regulatory, governing bodies, private and public energy players, and potential investors
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the energy sector, attend and represent the company in seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
Collaborate in the administrative tasks requested by the group, such as prepare the documentation needed to support look backs and return of experiences exercises.
Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Ocupational Profile:
Economics, business administration, marketing, civil/industrial engineer, or similar fields.
