We are looking for an eMobility Business Developer to help us push our wonderful solution for Electric Vehicles Chargers into the Portuguese market. The location base is our office in Oporto or Lisboa. You will report to the Iberia Business Development Manager.

The person we are looking for is a pioneer within Schneider Electric with a technical and commercial profile. He/she should gain knowledge in the country landscape, searching for new possibilities to support the growth of selling the Schneider Electric eMobility solutions.

As an eMobility Business developer , your role is to:
  • Identify and explore growth opportunities for the eMobility business in Portugal.
  • Work closely with marketing, technical teams, and support sales peers to deliver unified eMobility solutions, including infrastructure and services, while identifying and supporting opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key customers like end users, installers, fleet operators, CPOs, distributors, and specifiers.
  • Create and execute a sales strategy with customer-specific targets, sales forecasts, and plans to meet business development goals.
  • Educate the market on eMobility benefits through workshops and events, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay informed about competitors' activities.
  • Oversee and manage the opportunity pipeline within the country, while actively developing and maintaining a personal client list.


Required skills:
  • Clear and persuasive communication, both verbal and written, for engaging with clients and closing deals.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Comprehend and analyze technical specifications and tender requests.
  • Proven ability to identify and acquire new customers.
  • Willingness to travel as required.


Required qualifications:
  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree
  • A minimum work experience of 3-5 years in a similar role or 5 years in the front office in a position that request sales and technical competencies.
  • Native Portuguese speaking and very good in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
