Are you driven by the opportunity to shape strategic direction, improve business performance, and unlock new growth opportunities? We're looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Head of Business Development & Strategy to lead our Robotics Machine Automation division through its next phase of transformation-focusing on sustainability, operational excellence, and market expansion.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Strategy Development & Implementation: Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the division's global strategy. Use market, customer, and performance insights to shape initiatives that drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term value.
• Market Intelligence & Business Development: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics. Develop and prioritize strategic business plans that maximize current market potential and support expansion into new areas.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives. Deliver high-impact insights and reporting to executive leadership, enabling informed decision-making at the highest levels.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Represent the organization at key events and forums.
• Inclusive Leadership & Team Development: Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment that values diverse perspectives and cross-functional execution. Create clear operating models and processes to support successful delivery of strategic goals.

Qualifications for the role:

• A Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
• 10+ years of global experience in strategy, business development, or consulting-ideally within machine automation or OEM industries.
• A track record of leading strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
• A proactive, inclusive leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.

The Robotics Machine Automation Head Office is based in Austria and there will be a requirement for you to travel for onboarding purpose and stakeholder management to both Austria and Switzerland. For this reason, our preference is for you to be located in a country with easy access to the Head Office Location.
