Summary/Objective:

The Offshore Business Development Representative will possess the knowledge and skills required to market and sell mainly to offshore oil & gas clients but will be allowed to cross sell to refineries and petrochemical clients. The right candidate will be a technically oriented, organized, highly motivated individual with strong communication skills. The Offshore Business Development Representative will be responsible for maintaining & developing an existing client base and developing new opportunities. The Offshore Business Development Representative will possess the ability to develop and grow relationships with key decision makers and end users. The Offshore Business Development Representative will also make sales & technical presentations, which is an essential ingredient for success.

Responsibilities:
  • Generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts. Assess potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key existing customers supporting current business activity as well as creating new sales opportunities.
  • Consistently prospecting to identify new contacts/opportunities, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive engagement of sales region.
  • Visit customers on behalf of USA DeBusk's services in the assigned territory for the specific purpose of driving incremental growth.
  • Make joint sales calls with management, specialty services SMEs, and branch management.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers, perform product demonstrations and presentations that differentiate key selling advantages to meet customers' needs to support and build sales.
  • Research and develop efficient methods to present solutions showing potential customers the cost benefit of working with USA DeBusk.
  • Work closely with inside staff, management and SME's learning the details of USA DeBusk's service lines, systems, processes, and tools.
  • Keep management informed of all activity via pipeline management, including opportunities and presentations to clients, communicating customer feedback on future developments, quotes, and booked sales.
  • Maintain a home office to allow for regular two-way communication. (High speed internet and cell phone coverage at your residence is required).
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the industry.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in an industrial discipline preferred but not required
  • 5 plus years of documented offshore oil & gas industry business development experience required.
  • Must reside in the Texas or Louisiana Gulf Coast Region.
  • Experience growing a territory based on a salary plus commission compensation model
  • Additional previous experience calling on chemical, pipeline and terminals, metals/mining/minerals, pulp and paper, power generation, municipal, and automotive markets are a huge plus.
  • A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Able to travel from your home base for sales meetings and customer visits.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Able to travel for multiple days for training and sales initiatives.
  • Technical sales experience preferred.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude
  • An innate ability to see customers, visit accounts for maximum reach and influence, solve problems with matching USA DeBusk's offerings.
  • You have a deep belief that if the customer is not doing business with you, they are not getting the best customer service.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $160,000 per year
