Job Duties and Qualifications

• Under general supervision, assists in designing and documenting new engineering systems and technology approaches.
• Considers security requirements in new product / technology design and development.
• Independently manages time and lab testing to insure timeliness and deliverables are met with guidance from the project team leader.
• Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity.
• Develops assignments and schedules.
• May assist in recommending design or modifications of processes or procedures that are not completely standardized or prescribed.
• May train lower level technicians and/or field personnel.
• May be required to hold specific certification related to job activities.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
• Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering or similar discipline and 2 years of industry related experience.
