- Support the well planning teams specifically on data acquisition planning and implementation. Ensure plans are consistent with well objectives in terms of delivery and overall contribution to the field wide data acquisition requirements.
- Plan, monitor execution and real time quality control of logging while drilling and Wireline data acquisition. Liaise with service providers to ensure timely and quality real time and final data delivery. Work closely with the company and contractors operation teams to scope data acquisition requirements and assist with data acquisition programs development to meet agreed plans.
- Follow up on Logging While Drilling and Wireline providers service delivery issues, take part and contribute in suppliers periodic performance reviews, share learnings to the operations petrophysics network.
- Provide real time petrophysical support to operations geology and drilling teams to steer data acquisition execution. That includes but not limited by formation dip/azimuth analysis from image logs and true stratigraphic thickness calculations for geosteering purposes (when required), real time formation pressure points selection and quality control. Provide early reservoir petrophysical properties quick look analysis to help in real time decision making process.
- Perform complete reservoir properties evaluation based on final and approved data deliverables. Prepare formation evaluation reports, log evaluation graphs and plots, and contribute to “end of well reports”. Quality control and approve final formation pressures data, perform a gradient analysis and provide and communicate general feedback on data accuracy, technical findings and observations.
- Ensure quality controlled, depth shifted, environmentally corrected and processed final data is delivered to the project petrophysicist within the time frame agreed with the Supplier with accurate and clear audit trail and header information.
- Plan, QC and interpret cement evaluation logs and provide technical input into the well integrity assessment. Participate and provide technical contribution into well integrity assessment process through communication with base management, new well delivery and drilling teams.
- Real time monitor, QC and guide cement bond logs data acquisition. Perform cement bond logs interpretation and ensure timely results delivery to involved parties.
- Review, QC and approve vendors’ invoices before their submission to finance department to ensure charges are applied correctly as per the contract and for the services provided.
- Minimum 7 years petrophysics, wellsite logging experience, or similar relevant experience
- Excellent open and cased hole petrophysical interpretation skills and comfortable with large datasets
- Wellsite witnessing / logging experience
- Confident, open communicator, experienced with presenting to management
- Experience working in multi-discipline / functional project team, and ability to influence others to provide quality inputs to ensure quality team delivery
- Ability to manage multiple activities and to respond appropriately to changing business priorities
- Appreciates the challenges of, and value generated by a highly diverse working environment
- Experience in LWD and wireline operations gained with a supplier would be advantageous
- Experience with Techlog and working with basic python code
