Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geophysicist with over 15 years of expertise in potential field data processing and interpretation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with airborne gravity and magnetics data in oil and gas exploration projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and strong analytical skills to support exploration and development efforts globally. It will form part of a new business unit at IS45 and will provide ample opportunities for someone wanting to make an impact.


Key Responsibilities:

• Process and interpret potential field data, including gravity and magnetic datasets, with a focus on airborne acquisition.
• Conduct advanced data modelling and integration with other geophysical and geological datasets.
• Provide detailed subsurface interpretations to identify exploration opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, seismic experts, and exploration teams, to drive project success.
• Develop innovative methodologies and workflows to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis.
• Deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate results into operational decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in potential field data processing and interpretation, with a focus on airborne gravity and magnetics.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Geosoft Oasis Montaj, Petrel, Grav/Mag interpretation and modelling tools).
• Strong understanding of subsurface geology and exploration workflows in oil and gas.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in an exploration context.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and present technical findings to stakeholders.
