Main function of the job: -

Senior instrument Engineer is responsible for the design, development,
installation of measuring instruments and automation systems for oil and gas
process plant control, according to engineering standards and safety
requirements in oil and gas industries.


Duties and Respensoplites: -
• Prepare FEED and detailed engineering for a new instrumentation and
control system projects includes EPC. The work includes preparation of
drawings, Specifications, Instrument data sheets, instruments list, cause and
effect diagrams, instrument plot plans, layouts, cable routs, loop diagrams,
logic diagrams, etc.
• Prepares design, specifications and installation drawings for control systems
such as DCS, PLC, ESD, SCADA and F&G.
• Review, comment EPC Contractors key deliverables, design, calculations,
specifications, plans, layouts, vendor drawings, testing reports, engineering
studies, materials quantity, etc. and ensuring compliance with control system
design requirements.
• Coordinate with consultant, contractor and vendors and attending meeting
throughout entire project development phase.
• Optimizes instrumentations and control systems, ensuring minimal cost and
simplification in compliance with the required performance and budget.
• Carry out sizing calculations for Control Valves, Flow Meters, Pneumatic &
Hydraulic Power Systems.
• Prepare materials requisitions for instrumentation and control systems
purchase orders and perform bids technical evaluations.
• Provide inputs and review of engineering drawings including instrument
location plans, cable & job schedules, cable routing layouts, instrument

installation details, process / pneumatic hook-ups, interconnection diagrams,
fieldbus segment diagrams, instrument loop diagrams.
• Provide technical support to construction sites and commissioning team
during installation, equipment testing, commissioning and plant startups as
required.
• Prepare project status reports and reporting to the engineering manager /
technical head and works under his direction.
• Performs a new control system F.A.T.
• Ensure the new projects are compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental
(HSE) requirements in oil and gas industry.


Qualification & Experience: -
• Education: B.Sc. Degree in Instrumentation & Control or Electronics.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of varies experience in engineering and
construction of instrumentation & control system of EPC projects. The
experience must include the design of DCS, PLC, ESD, SCADA, F&G, in the oil
and gas industry.
• Fully familiar with control system software packages, relevant international
codes, standards such as ISA, NEC, IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, BS API, IEC, etc.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills MS office.


Summary of Terms & Conditions
 Working Cycle : For American , Canadian , & western European 56/21 including
travel days, for others 65/21including Travel days .
 9 Hours a day
 6 days a week
 Payment for work days only
 Air fare travel by Economy Class
 Medical cover

 Accident Cover Accommodation , Food , & Internal transportation to be provided by
client
 Single status contract
